• Terms and Conditions

• Event Category and Registration: Choose your event category carefully, as confirmed registrations are non-transferable and cannot be modified. Provide a secure email ID and mobile number that you can access regularly for communication purposes.

• Communication Updates: Updates regarding Mayem Marathon will be sent to the provided mobile number or email; consider these as important communications and refrain from marking them as spam. Any notice sent to the registered email address shall be deemed received by the runners.

• Mandatory Registration Information: Fill out all fields marked as mandatory; failure to do so will result in the rejection of the registration.

• Acknowledgment of Risks: Acknowledge that running/long-distance running is an extreme sport with inherent risks to body and health. Take full responsibility for participating in the Mayem Marathon event and do not hold the organizing committee or any entities responsible for any injury or accident.

• Assumption of Risks: Assume all risks associated with participating in the event, including falls, contact with other participants, weather effects, traffic, and other public event-related risks.

• Liability Waiver: Shri Mahamaya High School Ex-Students Association Mayem shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness, or injury resulting from your participation in the event.

• Compliance with Instructions: Agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers for the sake of your health and event safety. Follow instructions to stop running if directed by the race director, medical staff, or aid station volunteers.

• Media Release: Confirm that your name and media recordings may be used to publicize the event.

• COVID-19 Precautions: Participants are required to carry their own masks and follow social distancing at the assembly point.

• Personal Information Usage: Acknowledge and agree that personal information may be stored and used for the organization, protection, and administration of the event.

• Event Cancellation/Postponement: Understand that adverse weather conditions, major incidents, or authority restrictions may lead to the organizers stopping, cancelling, or postponing the event.

• Refund Policy: Confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons.

• Absence on Race Day: If unable to attend on race day, no refund of any form will be given.

• Registration for Minors: If registering on behalf of a minor, confirm parental/guardian consent and all rules apply as if the minor were a major.

• Chest Number Collection: Participants must personally appear for collecting chest numbers; distribution in absentia requires written consent.

• Cut-off Time: Runners will not be allowed to stay on the course beyond the cut-off time due to safety and health considerations.

• Photo ID Requirement: Runners should carry their photo ID (Election Card/Ration Card) and produce it if required.

• Co-operation Request: Request total cooperation from runners in adhering to these terms and conditions.

• Medals & certificates will be provided to participants upon completing the run.

• By participating, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions for a safe and enjoyable Mayem Marathon experience.
